If you travel extensively eventually you reach a point where you have seen almost everything at least once. Waterfalls from large to small, dashing down into all sorts of landscapes, you have climbed mountains and volcanoes, hiked through Jungles, deserts, steppes, glaciers, entered caves, lived in villages and mega-cities, you have shopped in markets of all stripes, have snorkeled the most beautiful reefs, observed the most exotic animals, visited countless paradisaical beaches and and and… basically you’ve lived it all.

The search for the new, the never before seen, is getting harder, the wow effect becomes a rarity.
It is a pity, one dulls off, the extraordinary becomes normal.
