People radiate such a great enthusiasm for life, are so friendly and interested, its just wonderful.
Even if they are religiously affiliated like in all Latin  countries, it is different.
My impression is that they don’t let their lives be influenced or restricted as much, despite their deep belief . The mentality in general seems much more open and liberal. Sex, for example, is part of everyday life and is not taboo in any way like in other countries.

After traveling to almost every country in Central and South America It was the first country where I was extremely sad when I got to the border about to leave.
