(metaphorically speaking)
…ambiguous situation….
as in …. you have a piece of land with a great diversity of plants, wild animals and insects. Everything ecologically pure. It grows and thrives without you having to worry about it. A harmonious balance.
But suddenly you have an intruder, an invader who is slowly destroying everything, eradicating the whole ecosystem. Gradually, everything collapses, plants disappear, animals are no longer there, only very few insects remain.
Your land is becoming a dilapidated diversity-free desert.
So, what do you do? Do you let everything take its course without intervening?
Will you support, feed, fondle, nurse, provide, maintain the intruder so he can continue the destruction?
Or are you going to save the rest of the remaining ecosystem, keep it alive, revive it by trying to stop, to control the destroyers.
