difficult decision

Arriving in Calcutta. I want to stay a few days, check out the city and then continue on to the northeast of India, the tip between China, Bhutan, Tibet, Bangladesh and Myanmar. The region is often closed to foreigners, then open again, closed, open etc. you never know exactly how the situation will be the next day.
But it looks like it’s currently open, so that’s where I’m going next. Tourist-wise the region is still totally undeveloped and only few backpackers pass through. Two days before departure I have a dream. In my dream I was going up there and something really bad happen to me, or I would even loose my life. I can not remember all the details of the dream, but in any case it did not go well. So, now I’m sitting here in the Hotel in Calcutta brooding over my dream and pondering what to do. Should I just ignore the dream, dismiss it as “just a dream” and still travel up there? or interpret the dream as a hint, sign or warning and not go? I´m neither superstitious nor do I believe in the supernatural and yet, the decision is not easy.
But, I decided to take the dream as a warning and not travel there, instead I buy a boat ticket to Port Blair on the Andaman Islands.

What would you have done? Would you have gone anyway?
